Need advice, we sold a mobile home but the taxes are still coming to us?

A couple years ago we sold a mobile home in oregon that was on lease land to the owner of the land. But ever since then shes been collecting the rent from the mobile home and we are receiving the taxes!!! The mobile home is not worth anything so I don't want to fight for it, I just want the taxes to stop coming and I don't want to have to pay the taxes that have come after I sold it.Need advice, we sold a mobile home but the taxes are still coming to us?
You should bring the transaction of selling your mobile home on lease to tax authorities. At least you can inform it now and request them send the taxes notices to the vendor. First you approach the purchaser to return the taxes if any paid by you after sale of the mobile home. Better ask him to contact tax authorities to bring the transaction about the lease sale of mobile home and get it done with your instant. Take all these steps, how can you do. Best of luck.Need advice, we sold a mobile home but the taxes are still coming to us?
You shouldn't have been paying the taxes all this time. Call the city hall where the home was located and ask the procedure to remove your name from the tax bill. You may just need to show proof of sale by fax or mail to get this taken care of.
You should be talking to the applicable tax assessor's office.
