How can I find free legal advice?

Ive been rejected income support but need legal advice as Im a single mum trying to get divorced. We have a mortgage and he lives inthe house he wants to sell the house at a loss and wants me to put pay in for half the loss but Im jobless. Can anyone help?How can I find free legal advice?
Why cant you get income support ? I think you need to see your Citizens Advice Bureau to find out if you can claim any kind of benefit at all since you are a single parent. It may be that because your husband is still living in the house (I presume you are too) so I think selling the house is a good thing. If you have a joint mortgage then you are entitled to half so that you can start again.


Get some advice from the CAB but make sure they know what the appointment will be about.

If UK, ur best bet is CAB. Depends on lots of things like who's name the house is in etc.

advice shop should be one in your area, contact the council 1st and they should point you in the right direction..
