I need advice on a program that will aid in generating bids for a roofing contractor.?

I'm looking to buy a program that will aid a roofing contractor to write up bids from a laptop while on the job site. Any thoughts?I need advice on a program that will aid in generating bids for a roofing contractor.?
I just checked out a program called Bid Builder, and it does have a section in there for roofing. I used to work for a Roofing Contractor. Quick Estimator is another that looks pretty simple. I think the best thing is to find one that isn't overly complicated and not too expensive. Good Luck. You can add a letter head.


You can put in a general price for sq ft and then type in the size


You could put in materials and labour all based on size





SO you could say


it cost 1.5 per sq ft for materials and that is always your cost. and make a Second column for SQ ft. Put in a formula, so when you put in the SQ ft it multiples it and put it in a total column





then make a another heading as labour and we will say the cost is .59 per sq ft. (doesn't take long to lay a sq ft.) and do the same thing by make a Second column for SQ ft. Put in a formula, so when you put in the SQ ft it multiples it and put it in a total column








You can make it very professional very easy with excel.
