Does anybody have advice for an upcoming freshman?

I'm going to be a freshman in highschool this year and i want to know some things about it and what i should expect.Does anybody have advice for an upcoming freshman?
Just relax, make friends the first day have fun! these are the best years as a teenager! Go to all the football games, basketball games everything. Your first day is going to be so nerve racking, and even the first day of you sophmore year, but everything is going to turn out so much fun for you! Expect senior pranks, lol BEWARE.Does anybody have advice for an upcoming freshman?
You're going to LOVE it! Be nice to everyone, make friends with people in all grades, all social groups, and people are going to love you for being a social butterfly. Make sure that your closest group of friends are kind, smart, fun people who wouldn't talk crap about you behind your back and who will look out for you.





DO focus on your studies, keep up with your schoolwork and homework so you'll never fall behind. It's so much easier to make good grades if you just keep up with your work. It's never cool to fail classes. Every grade you make from now on will be on your permanent record, so this will determine your eligibility for scholarships and college entry.





DO get involved in some kind of extra-curricular activity. Sports teams, yearbook, etc. These are the years you will cherish for the rest of your life. Make the best of them!
