Im starting tumbling lessons in september, anyone give me any advice of what to do at home or how to prepare?

any tips of what i should practice at home.


ive only got like a cartwheel, roundoff, front walkover and stuff


i did gymnastics but it wasnt going anywhere so im switching to a high performance tumbling centre in september

build up strength it will help you alot. Do push-ups ,sit-ups and pull-ups.Also dont only do cartwheels ';one way ';if your starting with your right foot in front practice with your left foot in front.Hope this helps 8-}Im starting tumbling lessons in september, anyone give me any advice of what to do at home or how to prepare?
i would condition a lot. do push ups, v-ups, sit ups, pull ups, etc. also do handstand holds. do these up against a wall. it will help strengthen your shoulders. keep practicing what you do have. try to work on your back bend kickover. (if you dont have it) do bridges and try to put your hands as close to your feet as you can. then try to kick over. good luck!
